Job Responsibilities:
Development Areas
q Lead the development of System Requirements for new CPCS products
q Develop control algorithms using control simulation model.
q Coordinate internal and external technical activities of developers and vendors
q Coordinate customer and internal technical reviews and the development of all program technical documentation for new CPCS products
Company Internal Areas
q Report to Product Manager regarding systems capabilities, performance, R&D
q Report to Program Manager for project and task related matters
Experience and Skills:
q Demonstrated effective planning and execution skills are required
q Experience in requirements analysis, formalization and recording is required
q Experience working in distributed or outsource team arrangements preferred
q Experience working directly with customers and vendors is preferred
q Background in Commercial or General Aviation product development preferred
Qualifications:
q Minimum BSME, BSEE, BSCS degree with 5 years experience required
q Experience with electro-mechanical control systems preferred
q Experience with embedded HW/SW systems preferred
General:
q Comfortable working independently, with minimal staff support is required
q Demonstrated effective leadership in past employment roles is required
q Excellent communication skills preferred
q Estimate 25% travel
