The Manual Machinist studies blueprints. sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.

Objectives:

1.Perform Setups

2. Knowledge of feeds and speeds for various materials.

3. Machine parts from prints or sketches.

4. Experience with EZ-Traks milling machine is desired.

5. Follow all the company policies set forth in employee manual.

Basic Experience

Minimum of three years of experience running and setting up both mills and lathes.  High level of craftsmanship of work performed, close attention to detail, and good organizational and analytical skills.  Ability to understand and follow English instructions.

ADA Requirements

The key physical requirements of this position include regular attendance and standing for extended periods of time.  Maximum weight to be lifted or carried is 50 lbs.
